I would describe myself as an amateur photographer but I have a Fine Art background, so my aesthetic eye is fairly sound... I just don't always remember the correct settings for effective shooting.
I prefer a commitment to the surprises of analogue photography and I hope that film photography will persist for decades to come. I love the potential randomness of shooting film and I'm the first to confess that vintage film cameras are aesthetically beautiful and easily fetishised.
